Show Number Three

"Freddie" is still battling the audio production demon! This time Katie is too "hot" (too close to the mic -- too much proximity effect), and Freddie is too distant. We hope to have a second condenser mic by next Sunday, and Freddie finally figured out how to isolate the two mics onto separate audio tracks in Garage Band. (After recording today's show, of course.) Thanks for bearing with the technical imperfections!

Show Number Two

Fresh off of her trip to NYC and Washington, Katie (inadvertently) invents a new word! If you hear the magic word, email us and we'll send you an "autographed" photo of Presto the Wonder Dog and his new companion, the lovely and charming Ms. Ellie (our new Miniature Pinscher).

Important addendum:

Here is the website for the Committee on Conscience, which is affiliated with the United States Holocaust Museum:

Freddie used the word "holocaust" several times in episode no. two. Upon reflection, a more accurate term for the current crises in Africa, and elsewhere, is "genocide." Please check out the website linked above.
